I feel like at two years old, the magic of Disney really starts to open up. There are numerous Disney World rides for 2 year olds that will fall in love with and request to ride again and again. Plus, don’t forget all the shows, interactive experiences, and character meet and greets your toddler will love throughout all the Disney World parks.

All the parks have rides and attractions that two year olds will love. Check out the sections below for what rides and attractions your two year old will likely love best in each park!

I’ve written some other articles that include both what your toddler will love best at Disney World, what they may tolerate, and what to skip. If you want to read about everything in a park, check these out:

What Are the Best Rides For 2 Year Olds at Disney World?

First, let's start with a common question...

What is the best Disney World Park for a 2 Year Old?

When it comes to having the most toddler-friendly ride and attraction options, Magic Kingdom wins hands down. That doesn’t mean there aren’t really amazing attractions at the other parks for two year olds. But Magic Kingdom just has the most little kid rides and you can’t really argue with that.

Keep reading for which rides at Magic Kingdom your two year old will love, or check out this article that's all about Magic Kingdom with toddlers.

Table of Contents

The Best Rides for a 2 Year Old at Magic Kingdom

There is a lot to do in the Magic Kingdom with toddlers. Here are my top favorites, but for a full list of all the rides and attractions to prioritize with toddlers (and what to skip!) at Magic Kingdom, check out my post What Are the Best Rides in Magic Kingdom for Toddlers?

Dumbo the Flying Elephant

Can you get more iconic than Dumbo? It’s fun, it’s outside, it’s colorful, and there isn’t usually a long line. Plus, on a hot day, there’s an indoor (air conditioned!) play area for kids of all ages. And benches for the adults 🙂 Just enter the line for Dumbo, and you’ll find the play area along the way!

It’s a Small World

I lied. You can get more iconic than Dumbo. With It’s a Small World! Take a gentle 12 minute boat ride set to the catchy song everyone knows. Watch cultural animatronic characters sing, dance, and play in this just-stimulating-enough must-do Magic Kingdom ride.

Prince Charming Regal Carousel

Shoot. Is the carousel the most iconic ride, actually? It doesn’t matter, because this is another must-do ride for toddlers in Magic Kingdom. Enjoy views of the castle, listen to the happy music, and hop aboard your favorite horse on the carousel. The line is usually pretty short, so ride it again and again.

A toddler rides the carousel in Disney World.

Mad Tea Party

More fondly known as “The Teacups”, hop inside a colorful teacup and spin as much or as little as your toddler (or you!) prefers. I’ll bet you one popcorn bucket that your little one wants to spin faster than you do. Don’t forget to spot the mouse playing peek-a-boo in the teapot at the center of the ride!

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Hop into your very own “hunny pot” that hops along like Tigger, turns into a boat on a rainy day, and blows side to side on “Windsday”. Parts of the ride are dark, and it’s a bit more stimulating than other rides like Dumbo and Small World. But most toddlers will probably be okay with it.

The line also has interactive features for kids to help them stay occupied, as the line can get long. If you don’t feel like standing in line, I recommend getting Lightning Lane for this one… but then you do need to pass over the interactive area.

Peter Pan’s Flight

If your kiddo knows and enjoys Peter Pan, this is another fun and iconic ride. Take a flying pirate ship ride through the scenes of the movie Peter Pan. To be honest, if they don’t know the movie, they’ll probably like it but it could be a pass for your family. The line is always long. Consider getting a Lightning Lane or doing it first thing when you arrive at the park.

Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid

This indoor ride has you riding in your own clamshell and singing along to your favorite tunes from The Little Mermaid. You’ll be immersed into scenes like the “Under the Sea” party and Ariel’s grotto with all of her “gadgets and gizmos”. It’s a slowly moving, upbeat ride that’s fun for the whole family.

The whole ride, from line to exit, is perfectly themed and you actually feel like you’re in a scene from the movie! Ursula does make an appearance, but that part of the ride is relatively short.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin

This outdoor ride is much like Dumbo, but each carpet fits four people. The two people in front control how high up you are (like Dumbo), and the two people in the back control how much you’re tipping forward or back (like you’re flying on a carpet).

It’s easy, it’s fun, it usually has a short line, and if you’re hot you’re in luck. A camel may just spit some water on you.

Tomorrowland Speedway

Also known as “The Racecars” to my family, these 7mph cars are on a track, allowing your little one to be in control of the wheel! Don’t worry, they can’t reach the gas petal, so you’ll be able to avoid getting into a fender bender with the car in front of you.

This ride does get hot. Especially in line. There’s little air flow, and it smells strongly of exhaust. But I still think it’s worth it for a short line or if you have Lightning Lane. You do need to be at least 32in tall to go on this one! Most two year olds will hit this requirement, but you may want to double check before promising this ride to them!

In the Magic Kingdom, your toddler will love driving their own race car

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

The premise of Buzz Lightyear is to sit in a rocket and defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. So just from this alone, you may be able to tell that much of this ride is dark. There’s nothing unpredictable that happens, but you are in space with aliens.

You will use your laser shooter to try to hit targets and accumulate points along the way. Your little one probably won’t have much actual success, but they may have fun playing along. Plus, there’s a joystick in the middle that spins your rocket so you can aim better. And they may have just a bit of fun having control of that function.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover

The People Mover is a somewhat gentle ride that takes you on a tour of Tomorrowland. Enjoy 10 minutes of being seated and feeling some wind in your face as you travel behind the scenes of rides like Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear.

Parts of it are dark, but definitely nothing scary happens. It’s a nice activity for your two year old while waiting for your “rider swap” turn on Space Mountain!

Walt Disney World Railroad

The Magic Kingdom train is a traditional steam train that can be used as both a ride and a form of transportation to different sections of the park. It has stops at the front of the park, in Frontierland, and Fantasyland. You can choose to get off at one of these stops to your next attraction, or you can simply ride the train all the way around. The roundtrip ride takes around 20 minutes.

This train actually says “choo choo” and “toot toot”, and is very fun for kids, and very relaxing for adults. All aboard!

The Best Magic Kingdom Shows and Attractions for 2 Year Olds

Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade

Depending on when you go to Disney World, the parade happens either once or twice every day. The parade starts in Frontierland, travels all the way down Main Street, and ends at the front of the park. You’ll know where it will be because shortly before the show, you’ll see cast members laying tape on the ground to mark where you’re allowed to view the parade from.

Some families reserve their spots early for the parade, but no matter when you arrive, if you’re willing to pick up your little one, you’ll be able to see.

It’s fun, it’s musical, it’s colorful. And you’ll see a lot of your favorite characters along the way. Characters like Rapunzel, Tinkerbell, Anna, Elsa, Pinnochio, Donald, Daisy… and of course, Mickey and Minnie!

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire

This show takes place a few times per day at the front of the castle. It is a fun, musical show that features songs from Frozen, Tangled, and The Princess and the Frog. And it has the characters that go along with these movies singing and dancing along live!

Plus, the storyline is led by none other than Donald, Daisy, Minnie and Mickey! It’s a 23 minute show, and it's very easy to find a spot with a good view since it’s an elevated show in front of the castle.

Character Meet and Greets

There are a lot of character opportunities at the Magic Kingdom. Anyone from princesses like Rapunzel and Tiana, to toddler classics like Pooh and Tigger, and of course, the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse! For a full list of all the characters in Magic Kingdom and where to find them, check out this article.

Toddler meeting Mickey in Disney World

Tom Sawyer Island

If you have time on your hands, or if your little ones are wanting more of a playground activity, you could consider taking the raft over to Tom Sawyer Island. Explore recreated scenes from the book, including a floating bridge, a cave, and a windmill to climb. It can be a nice break from the crowds and corralling your little ones after a day of overstimulation.

Enchanted Tales with Belle

This interactive attraction is perfect for Belle loving little ones. You’ll walk through Belle’s cottage along with Maurice’s workshop. You’ll even see a magical mirror that turns into a doorway! And finally, certain guests will be part of a show and get to interact with Belle herself! It’s an often overlooked, perfectly themed, indoor attraction at the Magic Kingdom.

Rides For a 2 Year Old at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Below you’ll find the top highlights to prioritize with a toddler at Hollywood Studios, but for a full list of what’s available and what to skip at this park, check out Top 8 Attractions at Hollywood Studios for Toddlers and Preschoolers.

Alien Saucer Swirl

I don’t know what’s with this ride. From the outside it seems a bit like a carnival ride, but there’s something about it that’s just so fun. Alien Saucer Swirl has you and your little one swirling and swaying through space with the three-eyed aliens from Toy Story.

It’s really fun, it’s upbeat, and the perfect ride while bigger kids are riding Slinky Dog Dash next door. There can be a long-ish line for Alien Saucer Swirl, but Lightning Lane time slots seem to be readily available.

Note: There is a 32 inch height requirement. Most two year olds should meet this requirement, but you may want to check at home first before promising this ride to them!

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

This trackless ride has you zipping along on a train that Goofy lost control of. It’s fast paced. It’s fun. But it’s loud. It’s very overstimulating. And parts could be a little bit “scary”.

Some two year olds may love it, some two year olds may hate it, and some two year olds may just tolerate it. You know your toddler best, but if they like a lot of stimulation, this could be fun for them!

A father and daughter outside of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway ride in Disney World

Toy Story Mania

On this 3D ride (with glasses), you are in a car seated next to one other person (or your two year old could sit on your lap). You’re taken to different 3D screens, where you operate a pull string shooter to hit targets with virtual rings, darts, and pies and accumulate points!

It’s a lot of fun. Your toddler will probably have fun pulling the string on the trigger. And there are no scary or dark parts. Plus, the line features giant classic toys like blocks, crayons, Uno cards, and a Chutes and Ladders board game. And if you don’t want to stand in line, snag a Lightning Lane!

Shows and Attractions for 2 Year Olds at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney Junior Play and Dance

This 10 minute show is perfect for any 2 year old who loves Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Lion King (Timon), Fancy Nancy, or Mickey Roadster Racers! Each character leads the crowd in their own dance and everyone in the audience is meant to follow along!

It is very toddler friendly and the show host definitely caters to little ones in his languaging and animation. Plus, you can often find Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and Pluto outside available for meet and greets before or after the show.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-A-Long Celebration

This 30 minute indoor, sit-down show is fun for the whole family. Well, anyone who loves the songs of Frozen and corny jokes, that is. Two historians of Arendelle recount the story of Anna and Elsa from Frozen 1, and everyone sings along to scenes from the movie along the way.

The corny jokes will have you laughing, and will go way over your two year old’s head. But they’ll love singing along, seeing Anna and Elsa on stage, and even the “snow” that falls on the audience at the end! Hint: bubbles!!

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy

For any two year old that loves the movie Cars, this could be a fun show. Especially if you’re looking for a way to spend 10 minutes while waiting for your turn on Tower of Terror or Rockin' Roller Coaster (once it finally opens again!).

I honestly thought it was so-so. But that doesn’t mean your toddler won’t love it. The show is led by a life-sized Lightning McQueen animatronic. Then, there are large screens surrounding the front of the theater that display the rest of the characters and the show. A race is involved, so you’ll get Lightning McQueen’s viewpoint along the race track.

Character Meet and Greets

You can often spot Chip and Dale having a picnic by the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant. It isn’t a meet and greet, but they’re pretty fun to watch!

Meet and greet with Woody, Jessie, and Buzz in Toy Story Land. You can also meet Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight, and Mickey and Minnie at Red Carpet Dreams! Don't forget Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, and Pluto outside of the Disney Junior Dance Party!

Other characters your little one could meet that they may not know as well include Ariel from the live action movie, Edna and other characters from The Incredibles, Star Wars characters, and Sully.

There’s obviously a lot more that your two year old may like at Hollywood Studios. Things like Muppet Vision 3D, Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage, Disney Pixar Shorts, Green Army Drum Corps, Fantasmic, Vacation Fun animated short, and Star Wars experiences. But above are what (IMHO) would be a two year old’s favorites!

Disney World’s EPCOT Rides That Are Best for a 2 Year Old

Once again, we’re talking highlights of what your two year old may like best at EPCOT. There’s obviously more they may like, or will at least tolerate if there’s more the whole family would like to do! If you’re interested in reading about all of EPCOT, check out Epcot for Kids and Preschoolers… What Is There To Do?

The Seas with Nemo and Friends

This fun, relaxing ride has you traveling into the sea on your very own clamshell. You’ll watch loosely recreated scenes from the movie (no scary ones!) and end at SeaBase. SeaBase is the giant aquarium where your family can see various tropical fish, sharks, manatees, stingrays, and so many more marine animals.

The line for the ride is usually short, but if you want to opt out of the ride itself, you can walk through the gift shop and straight into SeaBase. The gift shop is located to the left of the ride entrance.

Family taking an ice cream break in EPCOT

Journey Into Imagination with Figment

This gentle journey takes you on a tour of “Imagination Institute”, where of course, Figment (the iconic purple dragon) hijacks the serious tour to make it more fun.

You’ll see disappearing butterflies, travel through an upside down house, and maybe even smell a skunk. The only potential scary parts are when the room is dark and you hear a train “approaching”. And at one time, there is a puff of air in your face. But these moments are short lived and the ride moves on to “happier” experiences.

After the ride, there is an interactive area before the gift shop. You can play music with your arms, activate sounds with your feet, and a lot of other fun activities that could possibly have you there for a while - so plan accordingly!

Frozen Ever After

Moving back into the countries of EPCOT, any Elsa loving toddler will want to ride Frozen Ever After. This boat ride is found in Norway and can have a decent line, so it’s worth prioritizing a lightning lane for it.

You’ll float along through Arendelle as Elsa creates snow on a summer’s day to cool everyone down. You’ll see some of your favorite characters (in animatronic form) and sing along to your favorite songs.

The ride does go backwards at one point, but in a fun way. And there is a part where you may get wet after going down a short hill. If this will be a problem for your little one, seat them in the middle and hover over them during this part. The seat may also get wet, so scooch them forward a little bit and they should be alright.

Gran Fiesta Tour Featuring the Three Caballeros

This fun boat ride is located in the Mexico pavilion. Donald goes missing in Mexico and you’re on a journey to find him. While seeing some of the most famous sights of Mexico, of course! It’s fun, there’s nothing scary about it, and it doesn’t usually have a long line.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

On this trackless mouse (I mean, car) ride, you are a mouse traveling through a restaurant. The screens are 3D, so you’ll wear some of those famous fashionable glasses. If the images scare your little one, they can always take the glasses off.

To be honest, I don’t think this ride is worth the hype or the realllllly long line! And to skip the line, you need to pay for Individual Lightning Lane (separate from Genie+ and regular Lightning Lane). In my opinion, it just isn’t worth it for an okay ride… but that’s just me. And my entire family.

Disney World’s EPCOT Shows and Attractions That Are Best For a 2 Year Old

Live Entertainment in the Countries

If your little one is into dancing along to live music, there are definitely some options as you meander your way around the countries of EPCOT!

There is a rock band in the United Kingdom pavilion, and band that also cracks jokes in Canada, and a live band in Germany. At times, there’s a Mexican group playing on the steps of the pyramid. And don’t forget about the traditional Taiko Drummers in Japan.

A fun, interactive show that you may want to prioritize is Sergio in Italy. Sergio is a juggler that has a show with some audience participation and will probably keep your little one entertained. I mean, there are balls involved!

Front of Park Live Entertainment

At the front of the park (that’s what I consider anything other than the countries), you’ll find an acrobatic show that gives Cirque du Soleil vibes. It can be found at the new World Celebration Gardens.

You’ll also find the iconic JAMMitors at the front of the park. Often near the tunnel by Celebrations Cafe. They are a group of janitors that jam on trash cans. They’re fun, laid back, and talented of course!

Germany Trains

This can seem a little silly to put into its own section. But when it comes to toddlers and trains, IFKYK.

Next to the bathrooms in Germany, you’ll find an entire miniature train land. It’s for viewing purposes only, but feature multiple miniature trains riding along through mountain villages. The villages are complete with miniature trees, houses, people, and animals.

I’d recommend getting yourself a giant German pretzel before approaching these trains. You may be there a while.

Palais du Cinema - Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-Long

To be honest, I didn’t know this existed until I was writing this article! But I can’t wait to try it on my next visit to Disney! If your little one loves Belle and the music that goes with it, it could be worth this sit down in air conditioning. Located in the France pavilion, of course.

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana

This walk through attraction is perfect when everyone needs a cool down. There are signs that teach you about water. The water cycle, how we use water, and all the ways we find water on the earth. With each sign you’ll also find an interactive element.

Each interactive element has, of course, water! Play music by “strumming” strings of falling water, make water jump with your arms, and part a curtain of water with your body. And finally, get soaked at the splash pad area at the end. Or stay out of the splash pad if you want to stay dry, but good luck keeping your toddler away from that one!

Bring a change of clothes for your toddler if you’re going to EPCOT and plan on visiting Journey of Water!

Playground by Creations Shop

When little ones just need to be kids, there is a playground near the Creations Shop. The only issue is that it gets HOT. There is no shade, and the mulched tire ground can get so hot that if you wear thinly soled sandals, it may start to burn your feet!

But if you’re there in the morning or on a cooler day, it could be worth a stop!

Playground at EPCOT is hot but can be fun for kids

Disney Pixar Short Film Festival

This 18 minute 3D show features 3 Disney Pixar shorts. They’re upbeat and not scary at all. If everyone needs a break from the heat, or if older kids are on Guardians of the Galaxy, it could be the perfect toddler-friendly activity!

Character Meet and Greets

If your two year old is into character meet and greets, there are a lot of opportunities at EPCOT. I’ll list them off quickly so scan below for your favorite characters and where to find them.

Moana by Journey of Water, Figment near Imagination, Asha (from Wish) near World Showcase Plaza, Mickey near Disney Pixar Short Film Festival, and Joy (from Inside Out) near Imagination. Pluto, Minnie, Goofy, and Mickey can be found near the entrances to the park (there is both a front and a back entrance).

Mulan in China, Belle and Aurora in France, Snow White in Germany, Jasmine in Morocco, Anna and Elsa in Norway, Alice (in Wonderland) in the United Kingdom, and Donald in Mexico.

The Best Animal Kingdom Rides For a 2 Year Old

Kilimanjaro Safaris

Journey into the wild of Africa in a safari truck and see real, live animals. It’s kind of like a zoo, but you’ll see animals roaming free a bit more and it looks like they’re in their natural habitat. It’s a fun adventure for little ones, and you’ll probably learn a new fun fact or two from your guide!

Of course, Disney ensures a magical experience with certain tactics and techniques that aren’t found in these animals’ natural habitats. Things like air conditioning in the lions' rocks so they stay out in the open on a hot day. And speaking of lions, they ensure predators are separated from their favorite prey!

Kilimanjaro Safaris is kind of a must do experience when visiting Animal Kingdom. So the line can get long. It’s worth grabbing a Lightning Lane slot if you have Genie+ for the day!

Toddler sees a giraffe on Kilimanjaro Safaris in Animal Kingdom in Disney World

Triceratop Spin

Triceratop Spin won’t be your favorite ride in Disney World, but your two year old will likely enjoy this ride! Think Dumbo but nix the elephant and add a triceratops. The line is usually short, and it’s close to The Boneyard dig site playground.

Wildlife Express Train

If your two year old is a train lover, it could be worth a ride on the 7 minute Wildlife Express Train. In addition to being a train ride, it’s also a mode of transportation back to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

Rafiki’s Planet Watch is where you’ll find the Affection Section (a glorified petting zoo), Habitat Habit (an area to spot more wildlife - a glorified zoo), and Conservation Station (where older kids and adults can take a class on how to draw an animal).

Na’vi River Journey

This gentle boat ride down the magical river of Na’vi is dark, but in a serene kind of way. It is beautiful. But the line can be long and in my opinion, not worth it unless you catch it with a short line or get Lightning Lane for it.

If you’re able to get a Lightning Lane, or happen to find a short line, it could be a fun ride to do with your toddler if others in your party are flying high at Avatar Flight of Passage (very fun by the way!).

The Best Animal Kingdom Shows and Attractions for 2 Year Olds

Wildlife Spotting

Kilimanjaro Safaris isn’t the only place to spot wildlife at Animal Kingdom. All throughout Animal Kingdom, you’ll find additional animals to observe. Animals like monkeys, tropical birds, gorillas, and so much more.

Some of the animals are lining the walkways from the entrance, or in specific sections throughout the park. Sections like Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail near Kilimanjaro Safari and the Maharaja Jungle Trek in Asia.

Check out the Animal Kingdom park map. On the actual map, you’ll see black boxes with animals inside that indicate where you’ll find each animal. And if you’re like me and can’t identify a Cotton-Top Tamarin based on its image, the key is found on the right at the top of each park section.

Festival of the Lion King

Okay, Festival of the Lion King is a must for all visitors of Animal Kingdom! This half hour show features live singers belting out your favorite Lion King tunes. And they are accompanied by acrobats, ballet dancers, stilt walkers, a fire dancer, and so many other accompanying dancers. And it’s just so fun.

At times, you may need to get in line early to ensure a spot at the next show. If it’s busy on the day you’re at Animal Kingdom, it could be worth getting a Lightning Lane.

It’s important to note, though, that with a Lightning Lane, if you don’t check in 15 minutes before the show, they won’t let you in! One time, I arrived five minutes before the show with a Lightning Lane because I had been in the Baby Care Center nursing my infant, and they wouldn’t let me in to join my family! That was not a magical moment in Disney…

Character Encounters

You won’t find as many character opportunities in Animal Kingdom as the other parks, but there are still some options! You could meet Mickey and Minnie at The Adventurers Outpost, meet Moana at Character Landing, or spot a boat partying through the park with characters like Goofy, Pluto, Timon, etc.

Live Street Entertainment

I love watching the Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe that perform every hour throughout the day. They’re fun, they’re talented, and they perform right by the bathrooms in Harambe. We often find ourselves dancing along while taking turns in the bathrooms and refilling water bottles before moving on to our next attraction.

You’re less likely to stumble upon the Harambe Village Acrobats. But it’s worth checking out their showtimes and finding them to watch this show filled with drumming, acrobatic stunts, and dancing of course!

The Boneyard

Back in Dinoland, kids 10 and under can enjoy this shaded play area. And their parents can enjoy a sit down out of the sun with fans blowing.

There is a fossil dig sandbox, a full playground with slides and climbing, and some interactive musical instruments. The perfect place to let your two year old be free and just be a kid for a bit while you’re in Animal Kingdom!

Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… And Beyond!

This 25 minute puppet show could be a great activity if everyone needs a sit down and a break from the heat. And no, these are no hand puppets. They’re much more Broadway-style puppets, complete with music!

If your two year old is into Finding Nemo, it could be a really fun show for them. My kids were kind of apathetic about it. But some families love this show!

Bird Shows

If your toddler is into birds at all, it could be worth checking out Feathered Friends in Flight or Winged Encounters - The Kingdom Takes Flight.

Feathered Friends in Flight is a half hour (seated, but outdoor) show. You’ll learn about how birds of Animal Kingdom are cared for. You’ll also experience some large birds soaring above your heads and learning about what makes each bird unique.

For less of a time commitment, check out the times for Winged Encounters on your day in Animal Kingdom. Located near the Tree of Life, at certain times throughout the day, this five minute show will teach you about the macaws of Animal Kingdom. And you’ll see many of these colorful birds in flight at the end!

Final Thoughts: The Best Rides for 2 Year Olds at Disney World

As you can see, no matter what park you’re at in Disney World, there are multiple rides and attractions your two year old will love.

Magic Kingdom has the most rides and attractions for two year olds of the Disney World Parks. With iconic rides like It’s a Small World, Dumbo, Prince Charming’s Carousel, and the Mad Tea Party. And newer favorites like Winnie the Pooh and Journey Into the Little Mermaid. You could spend a few days at Magic Kingdom and never run out of rides and attractions for your two year old.

That doesn’t mean that the other Disney World parks don’t have attractions and rides for two year olds, though! There are some absolute favorite rides at Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom as well.

At Hollywood Studios, you do not want to miss Alien Saucer Swirl, the Frozen Sing-a-Long, and the Disney Junior Play and Dance.

At EPCOT, don’t pass up on the opportunity to check out Journey of Water, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Frozen Ever After, and of course the Germany trains!

Finally, at Animal Kingdom, your animal-loving toddler will love Kilimanjaro Safaris, and your music-loving two year old won’t want to miss Festival of the Lion King.

Are There Any Disney World Rides and Attractions to Avoid With a 2 Year Old?

Of course! Obviously, any ride with a tall height requirement (likely anything taller than 32”) won’t be doable with a two year old.

And depending on your toddler’s preferences, you may want to skip dark rides like Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic Kingdom. Or even Spaceship Earth in EPCOT (yes, the “ball ride”).

Or skip “boring” attractions like The Hall of Presidents in EPCOT. And even though I love Carousel of Progress in Magic Kingdom, your toddler may not enjoy this 20 minute attraction… or maybe they’ll love a little break from the overstimulation of Disney!

And if your two year old gets overwhelmed with too much stimulation, you may want to miss rides like Minnie and Mickey’s Runaway Railway in Hollywood Studios, or even Imagination in EPCOT.

I’ve written in more detail about some of these rides in the following articles. So check them out if you’re wondering what rides you may not want to do with a two year old in Disney World!
